Baking instructions: Please don't eat raw batter. Brownie Batter: You'll need 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted, 2 tablespoon water, 1 egg. Cookie Dough: You'll need: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter softened (To soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened.), 2 tablespoons water. 1. Heat Oven to 350 degrees F for aluminum or glass pan or 325 degrees F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir together brownie mix, melted butter, 2 tablespoons water and egg in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Stir together cookie mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until well blended (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoonfuls onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 4. Bake as directed below or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Let cool. Store tightly covered. Pan size: 8 inches x 8 inches, Bake time (in minutes): 39-44; Pan size: 9 inches x 9 inches, Bake time (in minutes): 34-39; Pan size: 11 inches x 7 inches, Bake time (in minutes): 32-37. No butter? no problem! make brownie batter using 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons water and 1 egg and cookie dough using 3 tablespoons oil and 2 tablespoons water. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Store in a cool, dry place.
